Comprehensive eye exams

No matter your age, routine eye exams are always important. With them, your optometrist will be able to diagnose common eye diseases and prescribe the correct eyewear for you. Your eyes can also be evaluated as indicators of your overall health.

Update your eyeglasses

Our comprehensive exams will provide you with accurate results supported by the numerous tests and procedures designed to check the health of your eyes. The complexity of these tests range from having to read a typical eye chart to using high-powered lenses to examine the tissue inside your eyes.

It is recommended to have one comprehensive eye exam per year for 2 reasons: to evaluate the risk of potential eye diseases and to keep on top of any changes in your vision over time.

Eye care is for everybody

As you already know, the AOA recommends an annual eye exam for any patient who wears contacts or eyeglasses, but did you know that you also need a yearly exam if you don’t need vision correction? People with diabetes, high blood pressure, and other disorders are particularly encouraged to do so.

People over the age of 60 should be examined due to the risk of eye diseases increasing with age. It is also a good idea for those over 40 to check for common age-related issues, such as macular degeneration, presbyopia, and cataracts.

  • Children’s Eye Care
According to experts, 80% of learning is visual, which means that if your child is having difficulty seeing clearly, his or her learning can be affected. This also goes for infants who develop and learn about the world around them through their sense of sight. To ensure that your children have the visual resources they need to grow and develop normally, their eyes and vision should be checked by an eye doctor at certain stages of their development.
